I’m constantly drawn to wild roses—they seem to find their way into my camera roll every summer. They show up in the most unexpected places, often untended and thriving on their own. I love their imperfect petals and the way they hold both softness and strength. While cultivated roses are carefully shaped and refined, the wild ones feel freer—proof that beauty doesn’t need perfection to make an impression.
Rosa carolina. Native to eastern North America; known for its open pink blooms and sweet fragrance. Found along roadsides and in meadows, the wild rose attracts pollinators throughout the summer and symbolizes natural resilience and grace.
